Internship - MENA Programme, autumn semester 2026
For the autumn semester 2026, the MENA Program at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs (UI) is seeking dedicated interns who want to contribute to our research, analysis, and dissemination of information on foreign policy issues.
Middle East and North Africa Programme
The MENA programme conducts research, analysis and activities focusing on the region's political, economic, and social conditions. Two areas are of particular interest: conflict management and geopolitics, and socio-economic development. More specifically, the programme deals with the societal changes in countries within the MENA-region, conflicts in the region, and relations between Sweden/Europe and MENA-countries.
For autumn 2026, the programme is recruiting at least one intern who, under the supervision of programme staff, will work on these themes.
